The Ocean Eco 90 tries to renounce old yachting clichés and create a new look and feel for the new generation of E-Yachting. Modern shapes, a clear and futuristic feel but classic colours and materials create a well-rounded exterior design. Some of the key aspects of this design include a great open outdoor a large open flybridge and the large and well-lit saloon.

Design Process

The design of the Ocean Eco 90 by HENNDESIGN is shaped around a new solar and electric approach towards catamaran yachting. Different to other catamarans the technology is not an add-on but a central design feature. The most obvious feature that underlines that fact is the aggressive roof line that comes down to the hull and therefore creates a larger roof surface for solar panels.

Integrative Technology

The exterior of the Ocean Eco Line is entirely covered in Solar Body Panels. In the course of a completely new manufacturing process, the solar modules are perfectly adapted to the shape of the yacht. An innovation that can be used in many different ways, that breaks previous boundaries and opens up completely new application possibilities.

Silent Cruising

While noise pollution might seem a trivial consideration to many. Yacht propulsion noise is more than a nuisance for the user. Numerous studies have linked noise pollution in the oceans to stress and orientation problems in the oceans fauna. With state of the art electric propulsion systems for our boats we can cut noise pollution and start relaxed cruising.
